Mohera Zamindar Bari in Mirzapur upazila is a group of early 20th-century mansions built by a family of wealthy merchants. The buildings are painted in soft colours, with columns, arches and decorative balconies, set around a large pond and gardens. It now houses a police training centre, which is why it is so well maintained, and the grounds are open to visitors. It is one of the most photographed heritage sites near Dhaka.
