Rangamati রাঙ্গামাটি
A lake of hills, boats and cloud-top villages
Rangamati is built around Kaptai Lake, a huge reservoir whose flooded valleys turned hilltops into islands. Boats are the main way to get around, past Chakma villages, Buddhist temples and waterfalls. To the north, the Sajek Valley sits high on a ridge above the clouds.
