Madhupur Pineapple

The Madhupur area is one of the country's main pineapple growing regions, with fields stretching across the red-soil land. The local fruit is small, fragrant and very sweet when ripe. In June and July the Jalchatra haat and roadside stalls are piled high. Buy one cut and salted for an instant snack.
