Himsagar, Langra and Amrapali from orchards that fill the summer markets.
Chuadanga is one of the major mango districts of the south-west. Himsagar ripens first, followed by Langra, Amrapali, Fazli and late Ashwina. In season the town's fruit market heaves with baskets and trucks. Eating a ripe Himsagar straight from an orchard is the summer reward.
