Roshkodom

রসকদম

A Rajshahi speciality: a small milk-sweet ball rolled in large white sugar beads, round like a kadam flower.

Roshkodom is a sweet Rajshahi is proud of. A soft ball of milk sweet is rolled in large white sugar beads until it looks like the round kadam flower it is named after. It is drier than syrup sweets, which makes it easy to carry home. Old sweet shops in the city, including the long-running Rajshahi Mistanna Bhandar, sell it alongside roshmalai, malai chop and chhana sweets.
