A winter village fair at Ambikapur honouring the poet with folk songs, crafts and food stalls.
Every January, around the poet's birth anniversary, a fair is held at Ambikapur near Jasimuddin's home. Stalls sell clay toys, nakshi kantha, sweets and household goods, while stages host folk songs, jatra and poetry readings. It draws families from across the region for several days. It is one of the best chances to experience a traditional rural mela in central Bangladesh.
