Faridpur is long associated with malaikari, a soft chhana sweet served in rich, thickened cream. It is milder and creamier than rasmalai, and good versions taste strongly of fresh milk. Sweet shops in Faridpur town also sell khir chomchom and other milk sweets. Buy it fresh and eat it the same day.
