Four brothers have run this small sweet shop at Arambaria Bazar in Ishwardi together for about four decades, after their father Gopinath Pal died soon after independence. It has no signboard; everyone simply calls it Kori Pal's shop, after the eldest brother. Its doi is what people come for. It is made only as far as the day's milk allows, so it usually has to be ordered ahead. The shop also makes a full range of sweets and supplies most weddings and events in the area.
Good to know
Order doi a day ahead; walk-in stock runs out fast.
