ধুপপানি ঝরনা

See the place on video
Dhuppani lies at Orachhari in Farua union of Bilaichhari upazila. The name means 'white water' in the local language, after the white spray of the fall. Getting there means a long boat ride across Kaptai Lake and up the hill rivers, then a walk through forest and hill villages. Because the trip is long, few visitors to Rangamati make it, and the fall is still quiet.
How to get there
Go from Rangamati or Kaptai by boat to Bilaichhari, register with local authorities, then continue by boat and on foot with a local guide.
Good to know
Bilaichhari is a remote area of the Hill Tracts; check current access rules and carry ID. Go with a local guide and avoid streams in flood.
