This mosque, built in the late 19th century about a kilometre from Raipur town, is known locally as the Jinn Mosque because of stories that it was raised overnight by supernatural beings. The legend is what made it famous, but the building's domes and decoration are also a good example of the local style of the period.
How to get there
From Lakshmipur town take a bus or CNG to Raipur (about 40 minutes), then a rickshaw.
