Golokdham Temple stands in Shaldanga village, about 12 km north-west of Debiganj upazila town. An inscription dates it to 1846, and it was built in memory of Golok Krishna Goswami, after whom it is named. The temple is hexagonal and stands on a high old platform, with one chamber inside. Its design shows a classical, Greek-like influence that is unusual for rural Bengal. Trees surround it, and the Department of Archaeology lists it as a protected monument.
