A large drive-through safari park where tigers, lions and deer roam in fenced sal-forest enclosures.
The safari park near Sreepur covers a large area of sal forest, divided into a core safari zone and a walk-around section. Visitors ride closed buses through enclosures holding Bengal tigers, lions, bears, deer and zebras. Outside the drive there are aviaries, a butterfly area and a nature museum. It is a popular family day trip from Dhaka and Gazipur.
How to get there
Bus on the Dhaka–Mymensingh highway to Baghher Bazar, then a short CNG ride to the gate.
Good to know
Usually closed one weekday each week; check before going. Arrive early to avoid long safari queues.
